In an exclusive interview on One on One aired on Narababwiye TV, APR FC spokesperson Jangwani Frank, popularly known as Sir Jangwanovic, spoke highly of gospel singer Israel Mbonyi, suggesting that he may have been “shaped by an angel at birth.”
While being shown photos of various celebrities and asked to name three things he knew about them, Jangwani reserved some of his strongest words for Israel Mbonyi.
He described the singer as possessing extraordinary talent and a divine aura, saying that when he listens to Israel Mbonyi’s song Ku Musaraba, it feels like a sacred commandment to play it every night before sleeping and every morning upon waking.
"I first met Israel Mbonyi while studying in Uganda, though he lives in India. There is someone who truly possesses a remarkable voice, and among all gospel songs and others, one stands out for all time. It is called Ku Musaraba. I loved it so much that it became a rule for me to listen to it every night before going to bed and every morning when I wake up," Jangwani said.
Beyond this, Jangwani highlighted Israel Mbonyi’s versatility and accomplishments, noting that he is highly intelligent, financially stable, talented in music and other aspects of life, humble, and kind-hearted. He added:
"Israel Mbonyi is an extremely talented man. Loved by people from all walks of life, humble, brilliant, financially secure, educated, fluent in English—he is an example of a man who has it all. Truly remarkable!"
Israel Mbonyi is known for hit songs such as Nina Siri, Nitaamini, Sikiliza, Malengo ya Mungu, Kaa Nami, and others, which have earned him a wide fan base across Africa and among gospel music lovers worldwide.
Jangwani further claimed that all these blessings, talents, and virtues could be attributed to divine intervention, suggesting that even at birth, a messenger from God touched Israel Mbonyi and guided his life: "It is possible that when he was born, while still in his crib as a child, an angel sent by God touched him and said: ‘Everything you do in life will prosper.’"
He also praised Mbonyi’s generosity and compassion, recalling that the singer personally visited him and others during a prison outreach: "He has a kind heart, he even came to visit us in prison," Jangwani said.
As a digital creator and APR FC spokesperson, Jangwani concluded that Israel Mbonyi is a role model for youth and gospel music enthusiasts, embodying a combination of talent, wisdom, humility, and spiritual favor that inspires admiration and emulation.
