After a long absence of 17 years, gospel artist Richard Nick Ngendahayo has finally returned to Rwanda, arriving in Kigali on November 3, 2025, ahead of his highly anticipated concert titled “Ni We Healing Concert,” scheduled to take place at BK Arena on November 29, 2025.
Ngendahayo, who has been living in the United States, landed in Kigali accompanied by his wife and was warmly welcomed by fellow gospel artists, including Aline Gahongayire, Gaby Kamanzi, Phanny Gisele Wibabara, and many others.
His arrival drew the attention of numerous media houses and fans eager to witness the return of one of Rwanda’s most loved worship musicians.
Upon his arrival, Richard expressed deep joy and gratitude, saying he could hardly wait for the day of the concert to share moments of worship with his audience once again. “I thank you all so much. I can’t wait for the day of the concert so we can praise together,” he told journalists at Kigali International Airport.
When asked what he had missed most during his 17 years away from Rwanda, Richard said it was the people, the friends and fans he hadn’t seen for so long. He added that he especially looked forward to seeing them fill BK Arena during the concert.
Ticket prices for the event range from 5,000 Rwandan francs for standard seats to 10,000, 15,000, 20,000, 25,000, and 30,000 francs, depending on seating location.
Originally, the “Ni We Healing Concert” was scheduled for August 23, 2025, but it was postponed to November 29 to allow for better preparation. Since the postponement, anticipation has grown steadily, with fans expressing excitement to finally see Ngendahayo perform live after nearly two decades.
Richard Nick Ngendahayo is widely known for his heartfelt gospel songs that have deeply influenced Rwanda’s worship music scene. Some of his most popular tracks include “Mbwira Ibyo Ushaka,” “Ibuka,” “Gusimba Umwonga,” “Si Umuhemu,” “Yambaye Icyubahiro,” “Wemere Ngushime,” “Ijwi Rinyongorera,” “Unyitayeho,” and “Sinzakwitesha.”
His upcoming concert, themed around healing and spiritual restoration, is expected to be a powerful evening of worship and reflection, marking both a musical and emotional homecoming for the artist.
For many fans, Ngendahayo’s return represents more than just a performance, it is a moment of reconnection, revival, and thanksgiving after years of separation.
