Israel Mbonyi has announced that he has two concerts in Uganda, in the month of August 2024. For those in Uganda, it seems like a dream for them, because the man of God will be singing with them. This made those in Kenya and Tanzania stand up and say, ’How did we treat you, so that you don’t come to us, you man of God?’
Israel Mbonyi, was invited to two concerts organized by MASROB (MASROB Presents). The first will be held at Millenial Ground Lugogo (Former KCCA Ground), on Friday 23rd August 2024. The second will be held at Mbarara University (Inn Grounds), on Sunday 25th August 2024.
He will perform these concerts in Uganda with a group of musicians from this country who will be playing live to him. They have already become known as the Let Them Sing Band.
Those in Uganda who closely monitor the activities of Israel Mbonyi, as soon as they see that he is going to sing live with them in the next five months, are happy, but they have sadness mixed with a lot of curiosity, because they feel that August is long. Some said: “We can’t wait in August. How long!”
Someone said: "Uganda Kampala Mbarara, get ready for the man of God (Israel Mbonyi) who is on his way to bless your country." There are only those who do not understand how he chooses Mbarara, forgetting to go to the capital city of Kampala.
Although those in Uganda, especially those in the areas where he will be singing live are happy, and those in other remote areas have started planning how they will travel there, the residents of Kenya and Tanzania stood up, knelt down, and begged Israel Mbonyi, to at least tell them when he will go to theirs.
Among the people who sent messages on his Instagram account (you who are reading this story you should take a look at the comments under the photo about Israel Mbonyi going to perform in Uganda), most of the comments are from Kenya and Tanzania. “When will you come home?”
They asked him, ’When is Kenya, when is Tanzania?’ Someone said: "I pray without ceasing, that next time I will see you in Kenya." The Tanzanian then said: “From there, you come to Tanzania. We welcome you very much, since it is not far, and here we are singing that we have a secret relationship with Jesus" ( song Nina Siri).
All this shows how much Israel Mbonyi is loved in East Africa, especially in Swahili-speaking countries including Kenya and Tanzania.
