After the announcement of his death on Saturday morning, 23 June 2023, there was a great grief all over the nation, people loved him for his greet deeds, his gospel lecturer, a lot of people showed up at the church.
ADEPR Nyarugenge church one of big church in Kigali, the estimation about the people who were in the church to say goodbye to Pastor Theogene were about 4 thousands people, it was miracle happening, there was car parking all around the church area and all around Gacinjiro area, where this church is located.
Uwanyana Assia, wife of Pastor Theogene after explaining the long way they have come all along with her husband, up to when they have made uo something for themselves in life, she thanked God that he has been with, she added that her husband was very humble man, respecting man,.
"I had a revelation God told me he’s preparing a very quick journey.. I was afraid but I kept on praying." Uwanyana Asia conclude her speech approaching the picture of her husband with sorrowful voice, confirming how she loves her husband.
