Esther has lived her life well, doing what she was supposed to do, respecting was her values, living well with others, wisdom of choosing well was amongst her core values.
Living Esther’s life this days can help today’s people, by the help of other she accomplished incredible achievements, where she saved Judas’ clan, which was about to be eliminated.
Here are seven lessons you can learn from Esther as Bishop Dr Masengo shared on his social media.
1. listening and obeying: This was seen in the way she received, and obeyed the advice she got from Mordecai, one of them was to do not identify her, to keep her identity secret.
2. Patience: Esther was very patient, she married to a king, who was alcoholic, who listens what others say, who like to threaten others, who was often not at home. Esther was patient to all those bad behaviors, and a kinder reminder to you who are reading this, patience is a good character given by holy spirit.
3. Knowing what to say on the right: Esther was clever, when she had something to say, she would keep quiet untill she finds a right time. we can find this in book of Esther chapter 5:3-8, it’s was about how she asks for more time to say what was on her heart.
4. She knew well that before saying a problem verbally you have to prepare it through prayers. Before meeting with her husband (King) she first pray and ask her people too to pray with her, this is a good lesson we can learn from her people of nowadays.
5. She knew the right to ask from a king what she wants, before time it’s not a time, and after time is not , a question for you who’s reading when do you do what you are suppose to do.
6. She had a courage and love for her clan for Saving her people( Esther:4:26). she didn’t care about her life and that’s how and why she went to marry the king.
7. She carried our her responsibilities. people from her country were not righteous, they were not responsible, they just blame each other from what went wrong.
After reading this the question you can ask yourself, who are you according to what you read?.
