The Founder and the Senior Pastor of the Noble Family Church, Apostle Mignonne Alice Kabera, compared the President of Rwanda Paul Kagame to Nehemiah, in a gathering called All Women Together 2024.
All Women Together is the 12th annual gathering organized by a non-denominational Christian organization known as Women Foundation Ministries and represented by Apostle Mignonne, which has been held for four days at the Kigali BK Arena, from the 6th to the 8th of August 2024, with the aim of empowering Christian women spiritually and physically.
In this gathering, Apostle Mignonne thanked the leadership of Rwanda, especially President Paul Kagame, for having built the BK Arena, a house that can accommodate many different guests, and for making the country peaceful and secure in order to host various activities such as worship, which led her (Mignonne) to call him Nehemiah mentioned in the Bible.
She said: "Let me thank the administration of our country, you too help me. The Bible says to respect God and respect the King. When they say the King they mean the head of the country. ’Honor God and the King’, I don’t know why the Bible took it and put it together, I don’t know why the Word of God respects it and values it. Respect God and respect the King."
She continued: “I was blessed to go to Rwanda Day this year, not the first time but I went there. It was then that I heard that man Massai talking about the vision of His Excellency Paul Kagame for this Kigali BK Arena building, saying how His Excellency the President managed to do that. We are not just a place, but a place with a visionary.”
This is how she compared Paul Kagame to Nehemiah who repaired the walls of Jerusalem that had been destroyed saying: "The hand of God went to our Nehemiah (Paul Kagame) who was able to restore the country.
The good hand of God did it, the one makes a person to lead, to fix the problems (those affected in all ways by the Genocide against the Tutsis in 1994), to make someone continue. We thank God for it. There are people here who say, ’In the countries we live in, we can’t even find a place to host 500 people. We are blessed because we have all this.’
All Women Together Conference was launched in 2011. Women Foundation Ministries is a Christian organization founded by Apostle Mignonne Kabera Alice in 2006 that builds girls and women in the paths of salvation, in hearts and in practical ways.
