Christians and residents of Kisoro, Uganda, are set to welcome the Trumpet Conference & Crusade 2026, a major Christian evangelistic gathering that will take place in Kisoro District from August 28 to 30, 2026.

The three-day event will bring together preachers, ministers, and Gospel artists from different African countries, including renowned Rwandan Gospel artist Theo Bosebabireba.

The conference will be held under the theme “The Trumpet Will Sound – Are You Ready?” and will focus on calling people to repentance, returning to God, and preparing for the return of Jesus Christ.

The Trumpet Conference & Crusade 2026 is organized by Hephzibah Prophetic and Revival Center, an evangelistic ministry founded and led by Rwandan minister **Dr. Natacha Uwitonze Gatete.

A Pan-African Gathering Focused on Evangelism

Dr. Natacha Uwitonze Gatete, who leads Hephzibah Global Impact and Hephzibah Prophetic and Revival Center, says the conference is designed to have an impact that goes beyond the three days of the event.

She explained: “It is a message calling people to prepare, repent, and return to God. In the Bible, the trumpet was used to call people, warn them, make announcements, and prepare them.”

She added that this is why the message being delivered in Kisoro is both urgent and hopeful.

“The trumpet will sound. Are you ready? We do not want anyone who comes to simply come to see artists or listen to preaching. We want every person to ask themselves: ‘How is my relationship with God?’”

For Dr. Natacha, the conference is also an opportunity to bring together ministers and believers from different countries to work together in spreading the message of Jesus Christ.

Theo Bosebabireba Among Gospel Artists Set to Minister

To help deliver the message through Gospel music, the organizers have invited artists from different African countries.

Among those expected to participate is Theo Bosebabireba from Rwanda, one of the long-standing and widely recognized names in Rwanda’s Gospel music scene, as well as Starde Kanze from Uganda.

The presence of artists from different countries further highlights the international and Pan-African character of the gathering.

On the preaching side, the conference will bring together ministers from across Africa, including Dr. Natacha Gatete, who will serve as the host and main preacher; Apostle Godfrey Mwampanja from Zambia; Rev. Prosper Simons from Ghana; and Bishop Janet Uwicyeza from Uganda.

Other ministers from Kisoro and surrounding areas will also join the conference.

Dr. Natacha says the goal is not to make one individual the center of attention, but to promote unity among Christians and churches. “What I appreciate most is that this conference is not about bringing one person and making them the focus. We want to promote the unity of the Body of Christ.”

She added: “We have people coming from Rwanda, Uganda, Zambia, Ghana, and other places, but we are all coming with one message: Jesus Christ saves.”

“Our First Expectation Is the Salvation of Souls”

Speaking about what they hope to achieve through the conference, Dr. Natacha said the most important goal is to see people transformed through the message of God’s Word.

“First and foremost, we expect the salvation of souls. We want to see people receive Jesus Christ, those who have drifted away return to God, families restored, young people transformed, and churches in Kisoro working together more effectively in evangelism.”

She emphasized that the work will not end when the conference closes on August 30.

“The conference will not end on August 30. The goal is for it to leave behind an ongoing work in Kisoro through Hephzibah Prophetic and Revival Center, discipleship, and collaboration with ministers and churches in the region.”

Dr. Natacha has called on residents of Kisoro to pray for the conference and attend in large numbers. “First, I ask people to pray for this conference. Pray for the preachers, pray for those who will attend, and above all, pray that people will encounter Christ.”

She also extended an open invitation to the people of Kisoro, regardless of their church background or place of origin.

“I want to invite all the people of Kisoro, regardless of the church they attend, their background, or where they come from. This is not a conference for one church. It is a message about Jesus Christ.”

She called on pastors and churches in Kisoro to partner with the organizers, particularly in reaching young people, women, men, and families.

She also extended an invitation to those who may feel discouraged, have drifted away from God, feel stuck in life, or simply desire to begin a new journey with God.

“To anyone who feels discouraged, anyone who feels they have gone far from God, anyone who feels their life has come to a standstill, or anyone who wants to begin a new journey with God: Come.”

More Than a Three-Day Event

Dr. Natacha says the vision behind the conference is to contribute to lasting transformation in Kisoro rather than organize an event that simply ends when people return home.

She said: “We did not come to Kisoro simply to hold a three-day event. We came to plant a seed of ministry that we believe will grow and transform people, families, and the future of this region.”

The Trumpet Conference & Crusade 2026** will therefore center on repentance, returning to God, receiving Jesus Christ, and preparing for His return, in line with its central message: The Trumpet Will Sound – Are You Ready?”.
